I've worked in public health since 2000 and in research since 2005. My career commitment is to improve how we train professionals to work in community-based settings. I seek to achieve this through research, evaluation, and curriculum design that centers social justice and equity. I use both quantitative and qualitative methods to research how reduce racial bias among community-based professional trainees. I participate in numerous diversity and inclusion efforts across the university. I use curricular interventions to improve equity in helping professions.
